A Merry Little Meet Cute by Julie Murphy Sierra Simone
This book A Merry Little Meet Cute is pretty out of the ordinary, so it won’t be to everyone’s taste, but it might be to yours. It centres on an adult film star who somehow manages to land a semi-accidental role in a holiday movie for families. I’m aware that this is a naughty or nice topic. Things take a heated but joyful turn when the movie star Bee Hobbes (also known as Bianca Von Honey) finds that her co-star is none other than her childhood sweetheart. Who doesn’t enjoy chatting, in my opinion? I find this book to be entertaining to read and one that will get people talking.

As a plus-size adult film star, Bee Hobbes (also known as Bianca Von Honey) enjoys a thriving career. Bee couldn’t have asked for more with her large fan base and two encouraging mothers. However, Bee’s career is about to take a more family-friendly turn when her favourite producer casts her to act in a Christmas movie he’s developing for the pristine Hope Channel.
When forced to conceal her work as Bianca, Bee discovers that it is much easier said than done. Though all is made worthwhile when she learns that her co-star is none other than Nolan Shaw, an ex-member of a boy band who is in serious need of professional rehabilitation. Nolan has vowed to keep things under wraps on set, and he’ll do it if it means he can provide his sister and mother with a more secure place to live.
However, when Nolan recognizes his new co-star from her ClosedDoors account (oh yes, he’s a member), things rapidly get heated in Christmas Notch, Vermont. In order to conceal their new connection from the executives of the Hope Channel, Bee and Nolan are currently sneaking away for quick trips on set. The reporter who ruined Nolan’s singing career shows up and becomes immediately interested in the enigmatic newcomer Bee, making everything even more difficult.
And if Bee and Nolan can’t keep their off-screen relationship private, then this charming little meet-cute might appear on television.
