Fifty Shades of Grey was a fascinating glimpse into the mind of a man who had a difficult childhood. He develops thick defences and a tough exterior around himself as a way of surviving life. He doesn’t let himself get close to anyone, and he views relationships with women as only sensual pleasures devoid of any other feelings. He has been able to maintain this level of activity thus far in his life. Nevertheless, when he meets Anastasia, everything changes (Ana).
