Chloe Brown is a computer nerd with a long list of objectives and a chronic illness. She has created seven instructions to help her “Get a Life” after nearly dying, and the first one—finally leaving her wealthy family’s mansion—has already been accomplished. The following items?

Enjoy a wild night in the town.
Take a motorcycle ride.
Camp out.
Have meaningless but wonderful sexual encounters.
the ability to only carry hand baggage while travelling.
And then—do something wrong.
However, being awful is difficult, especially when there are detailed instructions available. Chloe needs a teacher, and she is aware of the ideal candidate.

“Red” Redford Morgan is a handyman with more sex appeal than 10,000 Hollywood heartthrobs, tattoos, and a motorcycle. In addition, Chloe has learned that he is an artist who works at night and conceals his creations during the day. Just the slightest amount.

But when she recruits Red for her plot to overthrow the government, she discovers things about him that no amount of spying could. like the reason he so blatantly dislikes Chloe’s privileged upbringing. And the reason he never exhibits his artwork. What is actually hidden beneath his gruff exterior…

Chloe Brown, the protagonist, had a close call with death when she observed and nearly got into a car accident. She also acknowledges how uninteresting her eulogy would be if others were to discuss her life. That’s it, she decides. My life is going to change. I’m going to modify things,’ she declares as she compiles a list of all the modifications she intends to make. Her list-making self deliberately wanting to be unique is amusing as well.

She, therefore, has a strategy for becoming more courageous, but she is also aware that this strategy requires support. She suffers from fibromyalgia and chronic pain, just like the author. When she is in too much pain or has pushed herself too far, being orderly can help her deal. That isn’t something that changes at all during the course of the audiobook, but she learns different coping mechanisms while experiencing more adventures. She ultimately receives assistance from Red, her superpower. They initially butt heads, but he later assists her when she rescues a kitten from a tree. She determines he’s the ideal companion to accompany her on a night out on the town because he’s a motorcycle-riding bad boy. She is building him a website in return.

The two of them are really funny together, and Chloe has the driest and most wonderful sense of humour.
