This is the name of one of John Glashan’s fantastic and brilliant characters, who was also a genius. He transcends the realms of words and images. He has a staggering range, from a child’s scribbling to intricate geographical drawings, and a very polished literary style.
He has been referred to as the “Michelangelo of contemporary cartoons.” His comics usually feature lavish watercoloured depictions of big architectural structures. He is more like the Turner of picture books than Michelangelo.
