Manga Classics Count Of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
The Count of Monte Cristo, who suffered a miscarriage of justice, is motivated by a desire for vengeance and given more power by a fortunate turn of events. He assumes the identity of an unidentified agent of fate in his vengeance crusade. The thrilling story of deceit, escape, and victorious retribution unfolds at a breakneck pace. The protagonist of Alexandre Dumas’ work ultimately feels uncomfortable with the hubristic implications of his own acts, which complicates the epic saga’s portrayal of the fight between good and evil.

When three persons unexpectedly inflicted Edmond Dantes with serious harm, he was in the prime of his life. As a result, he was sentenced to 14 years in a dank, gloomy prison with only one other inmate for company. In the end, this prisoner proved to be his saviour because he assisted him in escaping and revealed the location of a buried treasure. He became the Count of Monte Cristo thanks to the treasure. He employed deception, political clout, treachery, and cunning as the Count. He was able to make his three greatest enemies suffer just as much as himself. He subsequently married a lovely Greek slave, and they had a happy life together.
The Count realizes about halfway through that he may have been going about it a little bit improperly because innocent people have been hurt. He then apologizes for that. Before that, he acts somewhat haughtily, as if he is genuinely God’s representative, but after witnessing the death of a spoiled youngster (I didn’t like the child, but he was completely innocent), the Count makes the decision to act a little gentler and more modestly. The entire manga had religious overtones; the main character was working for God, and he even disguised himself as an abbot while using religious terms.
The story has been rather well adapted in its condensed version. The tale is incredibly true to the original literature, and the graphics and character designs are excellent. Obviously, the plot is excellent, and the intricate art effectively captures a wide range of emotions. The art is actually working overtime, showing through images what they wouldn’t have time to convey through text, and everything works out quite nicely.
