Due to their fathers’ business collaboration, their families have been close for a long time. Because of this, Charlie and Silas have been closest friends for their whole lives, and only in the last few years have they begun to become deeply in love with one another. Until Charlie’s father is found guilty of embezzling from the company, that is. His family suffers financial collapse as a result of his prison sentence. Charlie, her mother, and her sister must leave their home and live in a small, dilapidated dwelling.
The mother of Charlie develops alcoholism and neglects her daughters. Because of the significant changes in her life, Charlie finds it difficult to feel the same way about her relationship with Silas. Charlie keeps acting in ways to distance himself from Silas despite his best efforts to keep them together.
When Silas and Charlie suddenly start to forget who they are, what their names are, who their family and friends are, where they live, etc., the story begins. They only come to the conclusion that they both simultaneously experienced the same memory loss. They have no clue about their identities, the identities of their family, or the circumstances surrounding their birth. But they can recall little details. celebs, photographic techniques, books they’ve read, etc. You go on a discovery journey with the characters throughout the narrative. They not only gradually grow to understand who they are, but you also feel bad for them when they realize they don’t really like the individuals they were.
