On the day she is supposed to relocate, Fallon meets Ben, and the two click right away. Fallon has huge plans to move from LA to NYC across the nation. They spend her last day in LA together and she finds that Ben is in college and aspires to be a writer. After meeting Fallon, Ben finally has something to write about. After spending one unforgettable day together, they move on to live separate lives but still get together annually on the same day in the same location. Until Fallon finds out some information about Ben and starts to wonder what is fact and what is fiction.
Fallon experienced a horrible occurrence that left both inside and external scars. She moved to NYC in order to pursue her ambition of being a movie star because she didn’t have the backing of her family back in LA. She had no idea that she would run into Ben, and she had no idea that after just a short time together, she would have such feelings for him. Yet, their bond was unmistakable, which led to their agreement on November 9. Because I love romantic comedies so much, the idea of this made me giddy inside.

It was impossible not to enjoy the narrative of Fallon and Ben. From the beginning, their relationship was characterized by clever banter, strong feelings, and the authenticity we all seek in romance novels. Both characters were flawed and resisted telling each other their truths. And I assure you that they had secrets! But there was no denying their connection and chemistry! The November 9 gatherings were incredibly moving and full of emotion, comedy, and, of course, love—even after a year apart.
This book’s idea was so fantastic and different! The first time Ben and Fallon meet, when they are both 18 years old, is so adorable and will make you fall in love with Ben’s character right away. It appears like the beginning of a beautiful relationship when they instantly click and spend the rest of the day together. There is just one small problem—that night Fallon is going across the country in an attempt to start over. Based on the wise counsel of her mother, she is resolved to wait to fall in love until she has first discovered herself. Hence, despite her gratitude for Ben and everything he has done for her in the few time they have known one another.
She is ready to move on from Ben and begin her new life even though she appreciates everything he has done for her in the short time they have known each other. Ben makes a brilliant suggestion out of desperation to come up with a means to see her once again.
