Scarlett and the Kiss Thief by Ivy Smoak
I’ve never received a kiss. I realize how serious the issue is. My best buddy Axel Stevens and I fell in love, and that was the beginning of everything. I made the choice to reserve our first kiss for him. But he didn’t express his affection for me in return. He is now single for the first time in years, though. And I have the ideal strategy.
Over the summer, I reinvented myself. I’ve improved my wardrobe, given up wearing glasses, and have finally perfected the ideal strut in heels. On the first day of my senior year, I’m going to enter Empire High and win him over for good. My strategy is perfect. You have my word that by the end of the day, I’ll be donning his varsity jacket. Hoping to be able to seal it all with my first kiss.
Scarlett and the Kiss Thief by Ivy Smoak
Scarlett irritates me. Although I like her, she irritates me. She is the worry-wart of the Hunters. She is, in fact, her mother’s daughter. I appreciate Liam for being there for his older sister. She is supposed to protect him, but despite the fact that she has no idea what she is doing, he is protective of his sister because he is his father’s son. Sophia is a villain just like her parents. RJ Def used Operation Trap to get his father. I’m sensing Daddy Hunter, Axel. What is preventing him? He doesn’t pursue his desires the way his father does. Ugh, and Jacob adores his laid-back personality in contrast to Axel’s seriousness. It’s funny how similar it is to the Hunter Brothers.
Axel has never seen Scarlett, despite the fact that she has always adored him. She chooses to alter her appearance in order to attract his attention now that he is fully free. Her relative Sophie was involved in the planning of the Operation. Funny how the outcome of a hunter-hunter scheme is never what is anticipated.
The narrative of Scarlett Hunter’s senior year of high school at Empire High and all of the challenges that come with being the daughter of James and Penny Hunter from the Hunted Series, as well as a student there, is told here. A great short read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Great stand-alone but for the full effect of these characters.
Senior at Empire High School Scarlett Hunter believes that this year will be her time to shine. She’s never been kissed, and she’s always wanted Axel Stevens to be her first. the boy she had had feelings for since she was a young child. This has just the right mix of adolescent drama, anxiety, and the push-pull of hormonal youth. In these pages, jealousy, hurt, and hope come to life. Before the book is out, Scarlett receives her first kiss, but she doesn’t know from who.
