Star Wars by Daniel Wallace

For millennia, the Sith have been lurking in the galaxy, waiting for their time to seize power. Darth Sidious hunted down five crucial Sith scriptures produced by his most potent forebears in his drive for dominance. He later penned a sixth text—his own manifesto—using the knowledge contained in the pages that had been collected. When taken as a whole, these papers provide insight into the goals, successes, and shortcomings of the Sith Order.

The “Secrets of the Galaxy Deluxe Box Set” contains novels that reference both the prequels and the original trilogy as well as other books and comics from the expanded world. They play the same function for the “Harry Potter” series that “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” did. Although reading the expanded universe books first is not required in order to read these, doing so would be advantageous for those who want to get the most out of the experience. Each volume includes chapters outlining the fictional history of the books and how they ended up in the hands of the Rebel Alliance. Each volume includes notes from pertinent “Star Wars” characters, giving them the appearance of being alive.

“The Jedi Way” – Designed as a training guide for aspiring Jedi, this book covers the Jedi Order’s tenets and the preparation they go through. Yoda, Thame Cerulian, Dooku, Qui-Gon Junn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Darth Sidious, and Luke Skywalker have all left annotations in this book. Those who want to cosplay as Jedi should use the descriptions of equipment and lightsaber forms to improve their outfits because the drawings are attractive.

“Book of Sith” – An intriguing condensed version of the Sith’s history made up of a variety of various papers, each represented by a distinct page cut. The information is enhanced by several annotations by characters like Yoda, Mace Windu, Emperor Palpatine, and Luke Skywalker. It also demonstrates the disparities in viewpoints towards the Force.

“The Bounty Hunter Code” – This book serves as an introduction to the Bounty Hunters Guild for new members, much like “The Jedi Way” did. It makes use of background information from the “Clone Wars” TV show. A manifesto from the Death Watch, Ba’jurne Kyr’tsad Mando’ad, comes towards a conclusion. Greedo, Bossk, Dengar, Jango Fett, Boba Fett, and Han Solo have all left annotations in the book.

The fourth and sleekest volume, “The Imperial Handbook,” acts as an orientation guide as well. It includes a lot of propaganda from the Empire and walks new recruits through the hierarchy and objectives of the Emperor. General Carlist Rieekan, General Crix Madine, Commander Wedge Antilles, Mon Mothma, Princess Leia, and Han Solo all contributed annotations to the document.
