Tsunami, who was stolen from the royal hatchery as an egg, is excited to meet her future subjects and get back together with Queen Coral. Tsunami’s triumphal comeback, however, doesn’t go exactly as she had planned. A mysterious assassin has been eliminating the queen’s heirs for years, and although Queen Coral greets her with open arms, Tsunami might be the next victim. The dragonets sought shelter from the SeaWings, but they soon discovered that the ocean holds danger, betrayal, and even death.

The tale is consistent with the book, and the illustration is strong. To discover more about her lineage and to locate her mother, Queen Coral, Tsunami travels to the SeaWings. But things don’t work out the way she had hoped. Colourful, well-done, and simple to understand, the artwork is. Just like in the full-length book, the dialogue is clever and endearing.
